Born and raised in Poznań, Jacek’s first dream wasn’t a boardroom - it was a football pitch. He grew up wanting to be the next Jay Jay Okocha, but once he realized his footwork might not land him in the Premier League, he traded the ball for a keyboard. Starting with high school web dev, he transitioned into a software engineer role as employee #3 at a tech startup, eventually building complex systems for everything from financial reporting to life insurance. His first master's thesis in 2006 was about XML classification using recursive neural networks (spoiler: there are better approaches to solve it).

Driven by a curiosity for what happens “under the hood” of a business, Jacek pivoted into corporate finance. He spent several years helping founders navigate growth equity, debt, and exits, bridging the gap between lines of code and the bottom line. This combo of technical DNA and financial grit led him to find his "Goldilocks zone" - Venture Capital - and join the first wave of Polish VC firms back in 2013.

With over 40 investments and thousands of founder conversations under his belt, Jacek is a battle-tested sparring partner. He skips the fluff in favor of "practical energy" - valuing compounded progress and kept commitments over big speeches. If you’re building for Product-Led Growth, leveraging network effects or counterpositioning, you’ll find Jacek in your corner, ready to build systems that actually scale.

When he’s not deconstructing market dynamics and product roadmaps, Jacek is usually with his wife and sons, working out or lost in a book. His library is a mix of sci-fi, geopolitics, novels, and history - always looking for the next big pattern.

Jacek is a graduate from Poznań University of Technology, Poznań University of Economics, and University of Klagenfurt.
